The Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon Ref 6002G is a magnificent tourbillon with 12 complications. The designers created two dials to show off all of the functions with some displayed on the front, and others on the back. The case is made of 18k white gold with artistic sculpture work. The width of the case is 42.8 mm and the depth is 16.26. It’s chunky but the height is necessary to enclose all of the mechanical inner workings. The dial is made of solid gold with blue enamel champleve and cloisonne artistry. The current retail price of the Ref 6002G is $1.2 million.

The Sky Moon Tourbillon Ref 5002 was released in 2000. It is one of the most beloved within the Patek Philippe tourbillon collection of rarities. Ref 5002 features a case made of 18k white gold, measuring 42.8 mm in width. This was the first wristwatch from the brand to feature a double face to show off all the functions. There are 686 parts in the movement alone. It’s powered with a caliber R TO 27 QR SID Lu CL movement with minute repeater and tourbillon escapement. On the front is the perpetual calendar with retrograde date hand, hours, and minutes of mean solar time, Moon age, day, month, and leap year by hand. On the backside are the sky chart, phase and orbit of the moon, sidereal time, and correction of sky/moon indications.

Although not portrayed in its official name this also is a tourbillon. The Minute Repeater Perpetual Calendar is another rarity from Patek Philippe. The dial is blue with the tourbillon cage at 6 o’clock and the date displayed in three windows at 11, 12, and 1 o’clock.
