MUMBAI: Renewate Infrastructure Technologies Pvt Ltd, a Pune based deep-tech startup, announced an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed funding round led by Better Capital. The funding will allow ReNEWate to expand its product offerings, accelerate growth and expand its presence throughout India.
Founded by husband-wife duo Debashree and Supratik Ghatak, ReNEWate helps renovation contractors, property improvement professionals and agencies to manage their business digitally. With Renewate contractors and designers get tools in their hands to convert requests into projects faster. Renewate’s product have with AR and AI with native language support.
India’s property improvement market is upwards of $50 billion annually. Renewate aims to empower its users to go from an unorganized process to a digitally-planned approach powered by their app. The founding team has experience in both the real estate and technology domains, having worked with global firms in the areas of software technology, cloud computing, AI, architectural and interior design, project management, supply chain management as well as material selection, cataloging and application.
In a statement, Debashree Ghatak said, “We want to remove the pain points that contractors and professionals face. Many contractors are at the bottom of the pyramid when it comes to literacy but up the chain when it comes to showcasing high-value skill sets. With this technology they can be empowered to take control of their business.”

Renewate is helping them with their mobile-first vernacular-first app that brings simple tools to help them work smarter,” said Vaibhav Domkundwar of Better Capital in a statement.
