NEW DELHI: BSH Home Appliances has introduced a Direct2Customer platform to push sales of its appliances range including coffee makers, induction hobs and grills, the company said on Monday.
The platform has been introduced through select kitchen dealers, it said in a statement.
According to a recent report by Unicommerce, there has been a significant escalation of e-commerce adoption in June 2020 compared to the pre-lockdown months, with adoption in tier-3 markets growing faster than metros.
Given this scenario, direct-to-consumer brands stand to gain by influencing shoppers with customised offers and loyalty programmes.
