Is Snack Video actually the banned Chinese app Kwai? It is according to a complaint sent by the Centre for Digital Economy Policy Research to senior members of the Narendra Modi government, including Home Minister Amit Shah. The complaint describes it as old wine in a new bottle and says Snack Video is a mirrored offering of the banned app Kwai in India. Snack Video has seen 10cr plus downloads according to this complaint, which also claims the app has been topping the charts on Google Play for 15 consecutive weeks.
