Educational Initiatives appoints new chief product & technology officer


BENGALURU: Edtech firm Educational Initiatives has announced the appointment of Umesh Joshi as its chief product and technology officer.


As part of the senior management team of Educational Initiatives (EI), Joshi will be responsible for delivering products that support the firm’s business goals, which involves product management, product development, product delivery and product impact chain. An alumni of IIT-Kanpur, he has in-depth knowledge and expertise in cloud-based solution and data security.


Prior to joining EI, Joshi was the chief technology officer at Hush. He co-founded Hush and VoyageUp. Before venturing into the startup business, his experience of more than 20 years spanned diverse roles in product development, product management and software development in organisations like VMware, Yahoo, McAfee, Talisma Corporation, Aditi Technologies and Mahindra British Telecom.
