Staying at a European-style bed and breakfast in Roswell couldn’t be any more out of the ordinary. The fact that there’s a B&B like this out there in the desert makes it all the more worthy to check out. This location is close to a couple of Roswell’s most visited attractions including the International UFO Museum and the New Mexico Military Institute. This bed and breakfast is a restored home that’s filled with Victorian antiques and Southern charm. Staying at the Country Club B&B will be like bringing the warmth of the desert in. It’s cozy and definitely one-of-a-kind. This bed and breakfast does not have any rating under 4% on Tripadvisor. That’s a feat in and of itself. Apart from the gorgeous location, the host definitely has a lot to do with it. Luxury hotels are hard to come by in this part of the state, but there are far better options than just motels. Hampton Inn & Suites happen to be one of our favorite Hilton brands. They maintain a high standard of service because they are part of the Hilton chain. A stay at this particular Hampton Inn at Roswell means you’ll be right by some of the biggest attractions in the city. If you want to venture out a few more miles, you can find yourself at Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge. A little more driving will take you to the beautiful Bottomless Lakes State Park. What we love about hotel stays is coming back to a cleaned up room and a made up bed after a day of exploring. As with every Hampton Inn stay, hot breakfasts are included in the price as well as the WiFi, parking, pool access, fitness center access, business room access, and more. The rooms are all spacious, and this particular location in Roswell offers suites as well.
3. Burnt Well Guest Ranch
Just a little ways outside of Roswell is the Burnt Well Guest Ranch. This all-inclusive ranch is an experience in and of itself. The company offers guest ranch packages that includes pick up and drop off at the airport, snacks, drinks, and many more. After your exploration, rush back to the ranch to get a good glimpse of the sunset.

Here’s another hotel option that’s probably the best one in the area. This particular Holiday Inn at Roswell is the only full-service hotel in the area. It’s a newer property so everything is clean and fresh. Children stay and eat for free at this hotel as long as they’re under 11 years old. Otherwise, breakfast will only cost you $1 per person. All the rooms here are fully equipped, and the staff will provide you with anything else you might need. In addition to a fitness center and a business center, the Holiday Inn Roswell also has a pool, a heated pool, and a whirlpool. Even more, there’s one restaurant on site that serves breakfast and dinner daily. If you’re too tired to eat out, the hotel’s Oasis Bar & Grill is right downstairs for you. This hotel is only a few miles away from the city; so even if you wanted to walk around during the cooler temperature, you absolutely could.
5. Luxury Home via Vrbo
If you prefer to stay at a home away from home, this Vrbo listing might be the best option for you. This 8600 square foot house sits on 100 acres of prime Roswell real estate, and it’s simply unbelievable. It has a gorgeous pool in the back and large backyard area for lounging and hanging out.
