Growth in India has been exponential: Triller executive chairman Bobby Sarnevesht

Sarnevesht said Triller’s security measures differ greatly from other apps, as it does not save facial biometrics and doesn’t collect details like e-mail addresses or phone numbers.

​​In early August, Triller was ranked number one in all app store categories across 50 markets including the United States, Australia, France, Great Britain and Italy, overtaking YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat and other apps, said Bobby Sarnevesht, executive chairman of Triller, in an interview to ET.






Los Angeles based social video app Triller has been topping app rankings across countries following growing global concerns around Chinese short video app TikTok. Launched in India in the first week of July, Triller has seenaround 40 million downloads from Google play store and Apple app store so far.
